Subject Matter
- Are you interested in people and are not afraid of statistics or methodology?
- Do you want to know why people behave the way they do?
- Do you want to study a subject that never gets boring?
If you answered yes to all these questions, then you have come to the right place. Our psychology program is one of the university’s most popular programs – and with good reason. Unlike almost any other subject, a degree in psychology offers a variety of possible career paths later on, ranging from working as a freelance psychotherapist, to being the expert in questions of legal psychology, to working in organization development.
You can find more information on the different career options, available to you after your studies, here (in German): www.dgps.de/psychologie-studieren/berufsfelder.
With our new bachelor’s program “Psychology & Psychotherapy”, we offer the possibility of direct training to become a psychotherapist, but also qualify for other areas of psychology with corresponding offers in the master’s program.
With legal psychology, we offer our students a popular application subject already at the bachelor level, which can be completed through the corresponding master’s program, opening up further career opportunities.
