In many subjects, you can only pursue one specific degree e.g. Medicine (final degree: State Examination), Meteorology (final degree: Bachelor/Master of Science) or Sociology (final degree: Bachelor/Master of Arts). However, in some subjects different degrees may be awarded, e.g. Chemistry or Biology (Bachelor/Master of Science or Bachelor/Master of Education).
